The Good Food Box Program is operated by the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary and supported by Rise Calgary. It helps address food security by providing fresh fruits and vegetables at an affordable cost.

How It Works

The following steps outline our process, including timeline and requirements.

  1. Step 1: Find a depot near you

    Check the link below to see which Good Food Box depot is closest to you. There are over 30 locations across Calgary.

  2. Step 2: Check order deadlines and pickup dates

    If you choose this depot, review the schedule below for the order deadline and pickup date.

  3. Step 3: Submit your pre-order

    Complete the pre-order form online or visit our office in person to place your request.

  4. Step 4: Make your payment in person

    To finalize your order, payment must be made in person.

    Monday to Friday
    1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

    Your order is not confirmed until payment is received before the order deadline.

The content varies weekly due to seasonal availability. The boxes contain the maximum produce to ensure our clients are getting the most value for the price.
